Erhard Perz (Ph.D., Dipl. Eng.)

Erhard Perz holds a Ph.D. and a Masters degree (Dipl.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Graz University of Technology in Austria.
Erhard Perz is Founder and Managing Director of SimTech Simulation Technology (SimTech GmbH) since 1991. He has long-term experience in Business Development, Management & Administration and consolidated expertise in Systems Development. He is the main author of SimTech’s simulation software package IPSEpro, used mostly for Processes Simulation & Applications in the Energy Sector. He has coordinated many research projects and has participated in several projects with financial support from National Austrian and European Research Funds.
Before founding SimTech, Erhard Perz was working in research at Graz University of Technology, Institute for Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics (1984-1989), and at the Chemical Engineering Department of Imperial College in London (1989-1991), UK. He is author and co-author of several journal publications, concerning modeling and analysis of processes using the simulation software package IPSEpro in various applications.
