Mikrolin Hungary Ltd. is a 100% Hungarian privately owned company founded in 2000 focusing on plastic waste recycling. The company’s site is located in Tatabánya, Hungary and has capacity for grinding, washing (if needed), extrusion and hydraulic press.
The company is specialized in converting plastic waste into various final products in a single step. Mikrolin has regranulation capacity for PO, converting capacity for PO and PVC. Based on the expertise in polimer science and innovation in waste to plastic industry it has participated in cross border projects (FP7, Prime; FP7 Poly-Solve).
Firstly from Central Eastern Europe, Mikrolin joined the Brussels-based association, PRE (Plastic Recyclers Europe).
Mikrolin’s role in MIDES project is helping to form the filtercells from recycled material.
