The MIDES consortium is looking forward to the week of 25 November, when the first project demonstration site will be launched at the Aqualia Racons Brackish Water Desalination Plant in Denia, Spain. The “Desalination Week” will offer hands-on tours of the facility, a desalination school, a MIDES workshop and more.
This will be the first MDC pilot-scale operation in real conditions, which aims to produce 150 liters/hour of drinking water, while treating 1-3 cubic meters of waste water per day. And the really big news is that the goal is to accomplish this with an extremely low energy consumption of less than 0.5 kWh per square meter of water. More information will be on the website, and Twitter @MIDES2020.
MIDES will also be represented at Aquatech in Amsterdam during the first week of November. The project will have a place in the EU Innovation Project Pavilion, and there will be a project presentation in the pavilion on Thursday 7 November at 14:00. Get in touch through the contact page for more information.
Hope to see you in Amsterdam and/or Denia!
